A Quick Look at Girl Gamers

If you were to follow the stereotype, you would assume that the average video game player would be a male teenager hanging out in his parent’s basement. This may have been the case in the past, but the gaming community has expanded greatly since that time.

These days, there really is so such thing as the typical video game player. Gamers can be as young as toddlers and as old as grandpa. They can be rich or poor, tall or short, black or white, male or female. The gaming community is as diverse as ever and developers are finally starting to recognize the different demographics and possibilities.

One quickly emerging trend is the push toward girl gamers. In the past, games catering to girls had to be cute and pink, but there are many female video game players who enjoy a session of Halo or Call of Duty as much as their male counterparts. There’s still a place for cute, but girl gamers are pretty diverse too.

I really can’t stand feminist gamer girls at all. I can’t stand feminists perioud.

I don’t believe women should be treated different on the internet at all, they want to play the game so they should be able to take the abuse like every other guy.

    Just saying..
