Create a Gel Button using Photoshop

Let’s start by creating a New Image. Go to File> New and create a 100×100 pixels, Transparent image.

Fill the image with a very light color of the same color. We’ll be using red tones. Take the Paint Bucket Tool and fill the image with #f6e1e1.

Create a New Layer (Layer> New> Layer…).
Next step is to take the Elliptical Marquee Tool. Use the next settings for it:

And place it like this:

How, choose the Gradient Tool:

And set the colors as following:

Next, take the Gradient Tool and place it starting from the right bottom side to the left top side.

After this, it should look something like this:

You’re next step is to go to Select> Modify> Contract and set it to 2 pixels.

Create a New Layer and fill it with White (#ffffff).

Go to Select > Modify> Feather and set it to 15 pixels.

Press the down button about 10 times. (Be sure you have the Elliptical Marquee Tool when doing so)

Now press delete two times. And you’re all set.
